"So...Tebow is NOT going to JAX?"

Damn...he really fucked up not taking their offer last year. Looks like his career in the NFL might be over.

Also, wtf is Jacksonville's plan? Not that getting Tebow is really a proven long-term investment but, yeah...

Not that I don't like the idea of a Tebow publicity boost, but between canning former co-worker Mularkey and putting Tebow to bed, he's making decisions.

Would you sign Tim Tebow to a two year contract right today?

I think they should sign him and let him start for a year, even if its a failed experiment, they can't get worse at QB than Gabbert. Use this years draft for defense/o-line. Look for a qb in 2014.

Most franchises have fans spread out everywhere. But since so many people who grew up in Jacksonville just stay in Jacksonville, and because we don't really have anything to draw outsiders to our team, no one outside of Jacksonville gives a shit about us, even when we're good, lol.

Tebow would be nice for increasing a national fanbase and giving us some nationwide attention.

But yeah, that article kinda indicates that Tebow is a little "my way or the highway," which the Jags definitely don't need.

For a number of reasons the Patriots might be interested in Tebow but not as a QB.

Before the draft it was stated Bill Belichick and Tebow met and Belichick liked the idea of wondering how he could include him in an NFL offence.

The media circus surrounding Tebow might be too much for the Patriots to put up with. However, Tebow could succeed with the Patriots (and other teams) as a Full Back, Tight-End, Blocking Reciever, Wild Cat, Trick Play etc...

To show the Jets how it is meant to be done.

I don't think its likely to happen but Belicbick does like to try some unorthodox things (Haynesworth, OchoCinco).

do they need superb special teams, too?

if you had a good running game and solid defense, you'd still want someone better running your team. the guy is just not an NFL quarterback.

His mechanics aren't fixable at all heading into his fourth year in the league. Tebow couldn't beat out Greg McElroy so what makes you think he can beat out TJ Yates? Tebow FUCKING SUCKS in practice so where will he provide competition to TJ Yates?

The guy is one big distraction. He'll refuse to run the wildcat like he did with the Jets. If you put him on special teams people will say you're disrespecting him. If he's not starting by week 4 his cheerleaders on television will push for the starter to lose their job. If he's not starting by week 9 his cheerleaders on radio and television will call for the coach's firing. Coaches just want to win but they can't win with a quarterback no one else believes in based on his performance in practice. In other words, this distraction does not belong on an NFL team as a quarterback.

Besides, Tebow's not a winner and never was one in college.

He couldn't run them properly and asked out after McElroy started.Role players prove themselves with those plays and earn more reps in game.

Trust the Texans are fine without the distraction/sideshow that is Tim Tebow.

the broncos won IN SPITE of tebow, not BECAUSE of him. the fact that they had a 10-win season and won a shitty division is a testament to their defense. if they had even an average quarterback, they wouldn't have needed to many "miraculous" fourth quarters. they would have won more games comfortably.

praising tebow for their success is like having an undertaker dig you a four-foot hole and then kissing him on the lips when he pulls you up out of it.

...deserve his own post?

For every Tebow post, I'm gonna start making a post about Dominique Davis, who helped Atlanta go 13-3 this season, thus making him a "winner."

Nominate your other picks for random third-string QB posts below, and we can make those posts too.

But definitely cant blame them 4 not taking him after tebow chose the rex show last yr
