But of the currently existing fields, it's pretty well-regarded as the league's worst.

It's also a horrible stadium in general, probably the worst I've ever been in & amazingly was antiquated within five years of opening.

...in the last game.

Designed runs add to the damage, when your knee is being held together with bubblegum and shoe laces. Don't run him if you don't absolutely have to.

Since the Baltimore game injury, he shouldn't have been taking those read option run plays. The wore out an already worn-out knee, ultimately until it collapsed.

Now two ACL surgeries in, you may need to be re-thinking the gameplan and lessening the impact of him taking additional unnecessary hits going forward.

Just saying.

At any point a player can go down. They looked at that dude and green lit him. Shit happens. He'll be ok, he's young. Calm the fuck down. This isn't a Randall Cunningham situation.....the surgery is so much more advanced now and it's a HUGE help that he's young. Plus you have Cousins to play if he can't come back right away. Chill. Seriously. This is the NFL. Grown man shit. If RG3 blew his shit out in the Super Bowl and won you'd be all on his dick and Shannys too. Either way, get used to this shit with the emphasis on head injuries and concussions, knees are gonna be blown out.

Not true...The first time they did...The second time Dr. Andrews said he was not even able to get a look at him...He also told the coach that it may not be a good idea to play him given that his knee was being held together by chewing gum...

And beyond all that, when everyone saw that RG3 was limping with 14 points already on the board any sensible coach would have taken him out...

There's no way of downplaying this...I'm glad I'm not a Skins fan...This is some bullshit...SMH...

ACL tear. ESPECIALLY since he already had knee surgery once in college.

And then if you are dumb enough to do that shit, you don't keep him out there when it's pretty obvious he's tweaked it again and has ZERO mobility.

I mean, there really is no way this isn't fucked up on the skins part.

The former is a 6 month recovery, the latter around 12 months (AP notwithstanding obviously).

Is there a new report stating that dude does indeed have a torn ACL because from what I understood, MRI's weren't conclusive and it will be determined tomm when they scope out his knee.

A lot of people miss that he played this whole thing like a game of chess. He sacrificed RGIII for Cousins, knowing full well the Redskins weren't going to make a Super Bowl run this year. You decide if that makes RGIII a rook and Cousins is the queen. Hear me out.

Look at the unending tire fire that is the Jets. That team had a QB controversy that will not abate even now especially since the coach has a tattoo. Stuck in a situation between a QB he wanted and a QB the owner wanted, Rex Ryan couldn't handle it... for whatever reason which I'm sure you will reply with.

After the draft, there were slight media hubbub starting up about the drafting of Cousins so soon after Griffin and conspiracy theories flew. Shanny did the right thing and got in front of it, named Griffin the starter almost immediately.

Shanahan knows that he has to deal with the hype of a top 5 pick and if he'd rather have Cousins then all he has to do is let Griffin run himself into the ground while having his back at the same time.

Rest assured Shanny will have Cousins ready for the world in 2013 and if Cousins balls out then he's in the catbird seat. Then Griffin can be dealt for picks and get a starting job based on 2012, Cousins is the future of the Redskins for the immediate future and Shanahan takes the heat off himself. Everyone wins except Griffin who will lose the next season.

on that awful field.

If Cousins can't get it done, people will clamor for Griffin once he's healthy and Shanahan will oblige them, as he should. Either way, he bought himself some time in a league where coaches don't stick around too long.

i wouldn't put anything past that dude.
they like cousins, that's why they drafted
him. you think if cousins was hobbling
around like rgiii that they would not have pulled
him at the appropriate time?

and fuck that, "he didn't want to go out" argument.
that shit is pathetic and snake-like.

in time, this era will fold like all the
other eras under this organization (snyder).

What's particularly interesting is where you said he would have Cousins "ready for the world in 2013". I think the offense you see Cousins running next year will be the offense they SHOULD of had RGIII running this season.

The game that Cousins started was the more traditional Mike Shanahan/Kyle Shanahan offense, with the bootleg/play action dynamic working off of the power running game. That is what I (and a lot of people) envisioned they would be installing with Griffin this season. Instead, we got this gimmicky pistol/read option BS, which is fine as a wrinkle, but not as a base offense, unless you want to get your QB killed out there (see Griffin).

So now the Shanahans have reset their clock with the built-in RGIII injury/coaching up Cousins (almost rookie for next year). Meanwhile Cousins (the gym rat), has a year of study and prep in the REAL offense. I definitely think he will come out on fire next year, with all of the prep he's been able to get this season as back-up and all of the coming off-season getting all of the starters reps.

Ultimately, running the offense that RGIII should have been running.

OE be trollin but theres some truth to what hes saying

RG3 was scared of Cousins getting shine

and add on how he prolly didnt want to lose the rookie spotlight to luck and wilson

dude was being a warrior for selfish reasons imo

I dont question his desire to win

dude is a true competitor

But he got in his own way with this shyt

Nobody would've been questioning his toughness after how he performed in the cowboy game and the 1st half of the seattle game

shanny is at fault too

he knew RG3 wasn't going to take himself out

Thats when he shouldve took his helmet

Everything here, for better and for worse, goes through Robert Griffin.

We won the division and went to the playoffs because of him.

We're without our franchise quarterback next year because of him, first in his foolishly running TOWARDS Haloti Ngata and then not benching himself last Sunday against Seattle (yes Shanny deserves blame too, but Griffin is the captain and should've been more accountable.)

This I suppose is the price of doing business with the RGIII or Peyton Manning types. When a transformational player lands in an environment that is so desperate for success, both highs and lows are experienced in extremes. This isn't like Roethlisberger or Eli falling into organizations with quality talent already in place. This is instead an example of hitching your wagon to one player and hanging on for the entire ride, one that's going to be smooth at times and bumpy at others.

You guys are putting way too much on a Rookie...He's just a kid...of course he's going to be selfish and foolhardy...That's what kids do...

But Coach Shanny on the other hand....

GOAT of his era......long live Prince.....God is alive....

Few pro athletes are capable of taking themselves out.

It's hard to make it to the pros if you're not a very competitive person.

Griffin is 22. He's a kid.

He made a mistake, but this was Shanahan's responsibility, not Bob's.

This is the head coach's (and team prez!) call.

in recent memory.

People have been fired for less.

Depending on rehab, it's possible Mike Shanahan just ruined the franchise for years.

More likely is that RG3 rehabs well and comes back at some point, and by that time we have a real GM and a coach who doesn't do things like this.

Cousins won't be RG3, but he'll keep you guys in the division hunt...

Just hope RG3 doesn't rush back from it...

Thomas Davis tore his ACL three times in the same knee and played the full season this year...and he plays Linebacker...

RG3 will be more of a pocket passer upon his return...

As soon as I saw him literally barely able to walk back the huddle (right before his 2nd TD pass) I started questioning it.

Then after one more possession it was obvious he was going to be completely ineffective.

They won't even know the extent of damage to other ligaments until they finish surgery this morning.

The idea that you could tear two ligaments and be back in 6-8 seems extremely unlikely.

That field has been terrible. They used to have the best grass field in the league, but now it looks like slop by week 9. I'm not sure if they're not putting tarp on it, or resoding during the bye week or what, but this shit was a disaster this year. It looked brown with no grass from Thanskgiving on.

Was no grass, they were playing on dirt.

Turf is doubly maybe even triply tough on the joints.

They just need to hire a new groundsman.

In response to Reply # 63

Conditionally, Sportexe 51 (Ravens, Saints) and some of the newer panel blends (whatever it is Dallas plays on) coming out may perform better than grass in seasonal situations, such as the cluster last weekend. At the very least, they need to look at a hybrid system like GrassMaster that the Eagles/Broncos use, because standard grass just doesn't hold this late in the year north of Florida.

In response to Reply # 84

Have always been great playing surfaces. They're not the chopped up fields like pittsburgh.

You may have a point with some of the hybrid fields, but the house that jerry built was designed that way because its a multi functional facility. Between 3-4 big concerts a year, multiple college and HS games being played on that same field, plus the boxing events and whatever else jErry can get in the door it would make sense to hve that sort or surface.

The weather here hasn't been terrible so i'm not sure why the field is in such terrible shape. If anything the weather has been milder than most winters so this is on the groundscrew.

Uh no, it's not.

Not the latest fields. They're as good as most grass or better.

And your point is moot if the Redskins keep literally painting brown dirt green and calling it an NFL field.

of injury for knee and ankle injuries. The company claims that the injury rate is due to players, specifically linemen, who wear improperly long cleats. But yeah, the league released a study last year that validated that number for that specific type of artificial surface, which is now like a 14 year old technology. The newer artificials are thought to be better because they allow for twisting.

He won't be working on his craft this year; he'll
have to rehab the knee full-time. This is the worst
part about the injury -- not the knee itself, but the
fact that he can't throw, improve as a QB

Cousins will be improving as a passer from tomorrow
on, will get to run routes, get more accurate, go to
mini-camp, etc

RG3 knows this, and will rush back because of it

He should COMFORTABLY miss the 2013 season, giving
the knee PROPER time to heal, also giving himself the
proper time to have run an offense with the new knee

Its different for a QB than a RB

He'll almost certainly rush

Honestly I don't want him to rush back, i'd rather him sit out and get his shit straight. I'm sure he'll be working hard as shit to get right but I hope they don't let him rush.

They fucked up once, I hope they just put him on the PUP to start the season and let him rest.

I'm blown, at least now we all know what the injury is and we can move on to supporting that KC Masterpiece until Griff gets healthy.

I mean, it's not like he's dead. He'll rehab. Hopefully we get a better coach and a better GM. But still.

No matter how the season ended, I was going to be excited about having one of the best young QBs in the NFL.

Only Snyderahan could manage to shit on that excitement.

Not a single one.

Concussion: rolling out on a pass play

Ngata hit: regular drop back pass, scramble on 4th down to keep the game alive

Reinjury, 1st Q, vs Seattle: rolling out on a pass play

Torn knee: scrambling to pick up a fumble on a regular pass play.

instead relying on zone-reads/design runs/gimmicks as a base offense was part of the problem.

Could do nothing in the long-run but help enocourage unsustainable habits & expose the franchise QB to more hits than he should have taken.

Like when DRose went down in a crumpled heap in Game 1 of last year's playoff, it likely wasn't really 'that play' that did it.

That was just the final saturation point for that joint but it was going to happen one way or the other soon based on the wear/tear of that season & point in his career.

Shanny & Company sold this kid's long-term development short for short-term gains every step of the way so far.

Bob, Skins Fans & the organization are all now paying the price.

virtually no passing weapons to speak of.

one of the worst defenses in the league, easily one of the worst in the playoffs.

Yet they went 10-6.

you're selling this offense way too short.

Should they consider more of a hybrid offense? Sure.

Does the failure of Randall Cunningham and Mike Vick to ever win anything mean nobody should try to invent new hyrbid offenses in the NFL?

fuck no.

There is literally almost nothing Mike Vick and Bob Griffin have in common except speed.

Not in smarts. Not in work ethic. Not in college PASSING experience.

Nothing.

Vick took VATECH to the national-title game as a 19-year-old, if he had hung around as long as Bob did the Heisman would not have been an issue.

This offense got in the way of Bob's learning curve on how to be a real QB in this league.

You can keep creating diversions to make it about Mike Vick or some other strawman but the song remains the same in regards to RGIII's 'development' which now will be spending its first offseason in rehab.

Ah yes, back to your nebulous, unprovable theory about Bob's future.

You should probably wait until he has at least one bad season before you try keep pimping this useless theory.

You're the one who mentions Vick and other "running" QBs in Bob posts. Do you need me to link to those posts or do you want to stop pretending?

The Redskins brought a new offense to the NFL this year.

One that finished 6th, despite have precisely three good players on it.

Forgive us for not giving a shit about your predictions for Bob's skills as a QB.

I'm under no obligation to explain how 'great' his cast is.

His cast wasn't great.

It was better than Luck's, which is why they won 5 games last year as opposed to Indy's two, however they had holes.

Has nothing to do with installing an offense that will be one the franchise QB can successfully grow into & with for a long productive career.

lol, wut.

The college game & success in it is completely different in the NFL, that should be obvious to anyone with half a brain.

The point is that the Redskins needed to start working on making RGIII an NFL QB rather than selling him short & installing an offense that was an extension of a college scheme.

That was short-sighted bordering on stupid but hey, they won ten games & got a playoff appearance out of it.

I don't claim to know what RGIII's future holds, just that this gimmicky shit Shanny had him running (unlike the system he put in place for late Elway, Young Griese, Young Cutler & even Cousins on his own team) was not in line with building for a long career as a passer.

>You should probably wait until he has at least one bad season
>before you try keep pimping this useless theory.
>
>You're 0 for 1 so far.
>
lmao, sure I am.
>
>>
>>You can keep creating diversions to make it about Mike Vick
>or

Nah, you keep trying to crowbar Vick or Randall (both of whom had success at various points in their career including two MVP's for Randall) into some kind of convo as proof that they sucked but relying on your quarterback's legs as an offense is still sound but it isn't.

If Randall had been in that Billick system he shredded the league with in Minnesota during his early career, his already-good career would have been better.

Just like if Shanny had trusted RGIII to make his QB have more than one read per snap along with passing at a far higher ratio than this asinine 2-to-1 ratio he rolled out there with (like, for instance, the way Reid did with Donovan in his first five years) then you'd have a sunnier long-term outlook for the QB you just spent three first-rounders on.

>The Redskins brought a new offense to the NFL this year.
>
A 'new offense' that looked like a college gimmick & fails to hone the skills that need honing.

We all know RGIII can run.

Some of us also understand that's not a skill you base a pro franchise around.

>One that finished 6th, despite have precisely three good
>players on it.
>
Smoke-and-mirrors.

Let your quarterback play quarterback.

>Forgive us for not giving a shit about your predictions for
>Bob's skills as a QB.
>
See, I made no comment on his skills, you're just mad.

Now RGIII is going to spend his offseason in rehab while you manage to cry about Shanny playing him while at the same time justifying the way he played him while he was in there.

Oh well, not my problem.

I'll just continue to keep it one-hundred.

They sold this kid short. That's obvious already & will continue to become moreso if they don't learn from it like you apparently refuse to do.

Before he tore up his knee - and for what? To be completely ineffective, get 40 yards and 0 points, and lose the game?

Uh, yeah.

Shanahan did a masterfully awful job in that game. One of the worst coaching mistakes in recent history.

He'll be lucky if he didn't permanently hurt RG3 or the franchise.

The Shanaclan developed a great offense this year. Plus one in that category. Gold star.

Shanahan also risked (and ruined) RG3's knee and in return got 40 yards, 0 points and a playoff loss.

Frowny face.

That's one in the minus category.

See how both opinions can be true?

Pretty simple.

a great offense if you value 'right now' small change upticks over long-term health/success, which is what I've been saying.

and to throw the ball far more than 20 times a game while also giving him the responsibility of having to make more than one read per snap.

You can do the zone-read/pistol/spread/give-it-a-name thing in doses, this dude acted like that was all Bob could do & didn't even try to open him up to other more fundamental concepts of the pro-level passing game.

I'd guestimate off-top I watched 8 full Skins games this season: Saints opener, both Eagle games, both Giant games, both Cowboy games, this playoff game.

Saw large chunks of Baltimore, Pittsburgh & ATL games as well.

But me I actually know what it's like to have a promising young QB, especially one with mobility.

Both those things are probably new terrain for Skin Fans but for me I've been there, done that at least a couple times already.

I simply pointed out how/why y'all were fucking it up down there & nothing that's transpired since has changed that thinking one iota, in fact its only strengthened my conviction on the issue.

thought u watched the games? if anything throughout the season Shanny clearly dialed back the riskiness of the playcalling

i imagine tho, that if Griff came out of the seagull game for cousins & we still lost, yall would still be dogging Shanny for making the wrong decision, not trusting his QB,bei g a racist who prefers the white cousins & doesnt believe Robert has the mental toughness blah blah blah

fact is, you fuckers are feeling validated & vindicated BECAUSE OF AN INJURY

And I get that, you're a fan.

It will take longer for it to seep thru especially in the face of you actually having a taste of what it feels like to be relevant for the first time in a couple decades.

It might have seemed like everything was perfect up until last Sunday to you.

>thought u watched the games? if anything throughout the

dialed back the 'risk' of having him make lots of throws & reads (things a young QB should actually be ramping up with) and instead increasing things like his rushes (which shouldn't be something you actually gameplan with).

I'd rather risk INT's over injuries when I'm supposed cultivating the signal-caller of my future.

But that's just me, someone that's seen this movie before.

>i imagine tho, that if Griff came out of the seagull game for

actually, I was saying this long before he got injured for the first, second, third or fourth & final time of the season.

So don't get mad at me.

I been consistent in pointing out my complaint & tried to tell y'all but nobody wanted to hear it.

Getting cysed off QBR for a guy throwing 18 times a game & pretending they don't see the downside to making this kid run for his life while not granting him the freedom to fail even a little when it comes to actually passing.

Shanny should have treated this kid like he did other QB's he's groomed in the past.

He didn't.

For Why?

bottom line.

Since I've been pointing that out from the opener, I have no problem saying the same thing when the whole shit blows up in the last game.

Maybe he (and of course Bob himself) will run an offense more fit for a quarterback when he gets back from his rehab.

all im pointing out is the Shannys DID dial back the "dangerous" playcalling as the season progressed...also, please note they have no physical control of Griff once he's on the field lol

i mean, did u see how Griff reacted to being scratched from the Browns game? he tried to be cool about it but he was clearly upset

The whole world can see how shitty it is.

In two seasons it has now claimed the knees of two of the best players in the league.

It's simply a good example of his hubris and inability to admit any flaw. Even something like field condition, which has nothing to do with him at all.

Yet he can't even concede that point.

dude is a 10 year player, not a 1st year wild card game player.

simply stunning the ineptitude of some of these GOB white dudes trying to run the world. (but even more stunning how easily we placidly eat the bullshit they serve us...)

In response to Reply # 0

just wanted to remind all DC folk of a recent horrible player mismanagement issue. everybody was psyced that Gil was going so hard to get back- 'saw Gil riding a bike today', 'saw Gil running with a parachute today', 'saw Gil at Barry Farms ballin'. Gil violated his regimen and was never the same player again.

HOLD.GRIFF.BACK.

yeah, we saw what AD did this year, but Minnesota held him back in the offseason, held him back in training camp, held him back in the preseason, and this ninja is bleepin' bionic. he was READY and they STILL held him back.

HOLD.GRIFF.BACK.

yeah, he might be able to recover quickly- but the quick timetable will only have him ready to START working in what, July? August? No minicamps, no OTAs, just getting back to straight line running come training camp?

HOLD.GRIFF.BACK.

you KNOW he's gonna try to come back early. we know the staff seems to have a hard time holding him back. fook the beginning of next season, fook the circumstances under which the injury occurred- NOW is the time to demonstrate that you have this guy's best interests at the forefront.

HOLD.GRIFF.BACK.

Gatorade is plotting on the recovery training commercial. Subway is gonna make a balsamic ligament repair sauce. Adidas is trying to schedule a spring shoot right now. Griff is going to try to oblige everybody, on some young dumb hero isht. Shanahan, you really on that Li'l Red-Faced General isht? you got Cousins, you got a system- get ready to start a season with the army you have...

HOLD.GRIFF.BACK.

i'm not talking about 'miss the entire 2013 season' hold back, but I don't want to see this dude playing in the preseason. really don't want to see him before week 5. even if he's 'ready'. why? because he's missing a lot of work... he could use the extra month of WORK that he'll miss doing REHAB.

it's not an unreasonable position to take- HOLD.GRIFF.BACK.

In fact he used rehab as a chance to increase arm strength and become a better deep ball passer.

While I think Shanahan is a stubborn ass who would keep an ineffective player in a playoff game, it's possible he's smart enough not to rush Bob back.

In response to Reply # 103

no need for that, all signals from the GM/Coach should be about protecting dude until THE TEAM deems his recovery and preparation for the season is up to THE TEAM's satisfaction.

we can guarantee that Griff is gonna be 'ready to return' early, nevermind the reps he's gonna miss... Shanahan shouldn't put too much stock into that- this is about ignoring the noise when a) Griff misses training camp; b) Griff misses the preseason; c) Cousins loses the first 2 games of the season.

Ignore the noise when the 'save our season RGIII' chants begin. Ignore the noise when the 'you should be fired for letting him injure himself' talk starts up if Cousins doesn't look sharp.

this is exactly what i'm talking about- Gil was a hero when he was busting protocol to get back to the Wiz, then he was an idiot for ignoring doc advice, then he left town blaming the team for not holding him back.

-MN didn't do that with AD, who was begging to practice in JUNE.

save these dudes from themselves, Griff has already blown his cred as a judge of how good he feels post-injury...

with a normal recovery he should be able to play next year. when the team and doctors feel he's healed and strengthened his injuries, he should go through a 'personal pre-season', then full practice, then play.

he won't be the same threat.

It's not to say that he won't perform well, but his style of play will need to change one way or another, which will minimize the threat he once presented.

Otherwise, his career will be very short.

If he would have been taken out from the Ravens game onward, he would have better chance to be the same RGIII again, but by aggravating like that with continuous play... nah.. no bueno.

Whether because of pain or just being a smarter player, he'll have to cut that stuff out going forward.

that's what's disgusting. We've been back and forth over the last year and it's apparent that you guys NEVER fucking care about this kid as a person, or even as player, it was to sell tickets, to have someone to claim as the savior, not to win Super Bowls.

They knew they weren't going to make a deep run this year, so there was no reason to have him doing designed runs on one leg. Why ante up all those picks just to have your golden goose risk his shit on that shit mound that you call a field?

That's what happens when an owner demands to trade up for a player that the HC had to be sold on and didn't want in the first place.

Griffin is an angel from the football heavens of above and your racist ass team has already done their best in ONE FUCKING YEAR to make sure that he'll be nothing more than a myth of what COULD have been.

Clearly, I hope he does come back and be better than ever. But before that will happen, there has to be major changes for your team, starting at the name, then on the field. I hope he bounces and becomes a Saint the first chance he has to.

You care about Griffin as a person, as do most Deadskins fan, that don't mean that the F.O. saw him as more than a money grab. Mistake my ass, when the team doctor says that he wasn't clear to go back in a game that they sent him , then it's more than a fuckin mistake.

>You care about Griffin as a person, as do most Deadskins fan,
>that don't mean that the F.O. saw him as more than a money
>grab.

so the geniuses at Redskins Park decided the quick cash grab was dependent upon getting him injured?

because somehow they're dumb enough to value short term gain that cant even reasonably be argued to be more than otherwise at the cost of this man (not "kid") bringing them tons of profit over a decade and a half?

huh?

Mistake my ass, when the team doctor says that he wasn't
>clear to go back in a game that they sent him , then it's more
>than a fuckin mistake.

care to point me in the direction of proof that this statement even approaches the truth?

I think it sucks ass that Bobby Digital went out like this in his rookie season, for a number of reasons, most of them expressed here

but most of all, being part of the machine that ensured the Giants were "ELI"-minated from playoff contention. so for that alone, RGIII deserves praise

but if you see me celebrating, it's on those who thought possibly coming to Cleveland would destroy him. well... NOPE.

But it's so convenient to pile on the Redskins so that's what the narrative has been. In truth, I think over 2/3s of the coaches in the NFL would've done the same thing.

Yes, when you suffer knee ligaments the long term health of your knee is limited.

It is not "worse than feared".

The long term deterioration of the knee is part and parcel of this injury.

This article and presumably the person who posted it are trying to act like this is breaking news.

It's not.

but if you wanna take a look at quality fairly recent QB's who were derailed early by knee injuries Culpepper would certainly qualify.

Carson was never really the same after his knee got crunched on the second play of the game in Pittsburgh during the playoffs, tho he did have a shoulder issue later too.

Donovan never made another Pro-Bowl outside of being an alternate-to-the-alternate in '08 after blowing out his knee in '06.

Bottom line, it's a shame but it's not a good sign.

Particularly when you've already done it before in college.

had the level of accuracy that RG3 does. Not sure if that will be the ultimate deciding factor here, because there are a lot of other things that they may have done better than RG3, but at least it's something to make myself feel a little better.

nearly as much as McNabb had to right away in a west-coast-pass-heavy-system with garbage wideouts and Darnell Autry at RB.

When the read responsibility & attempts go up, usually the percentage of completions will go down at least initially before it becomes second-nature.

Those are just examples of dudes affected by knee trauma recently at the position though, obviously every individual & situation is different.

but ok.

Dude made reads as well as any QB you might consider "elite"...I don't care how complex one might think our system is or isn't, a 20:5 TD to INT ratio is nothing but evidence that this is a guy who knows what throws to make.

McNabb attempted nearly 200 more throws in his first full year starting & his offensive cast was worse than Bob's.

Luck threw about 250 more times.

Seems pretty fair to say knowing that, while comparing the offenses each were running that those two had a bit more on their plate in terms of the passing game & one of the byproducts of that will likely be more INT's & a lower completion percentage.

That's not a knock at RGIII to point that obvious difference out.

I'd vote him Rookie Of The Year this season, however I'd much rather have Luck going forward (even ignoring this latest injury).
