to sit behind Vick. Crazy. After the Eagles shipped McNabb out of town, they gave KOlb "starter" money and guaranteed him 12 mil. Dude got knocked out Vick took over.

Now Philly is gonna cut Vick cuz "15 mil" is too much to pay for him as a start. Gotta love the NFL.

the whole reason why they gave kolb all that dough was because he was coming off his rookie deal that yr, having only played a couple of games while on it
they basically signed him on some mid tier free agent shit without really having a body of work to go off of
if they dump mcnabb a yr earlier they get that extra time to evaluate kolb without having to make a commitment
the cards somehow compounded that idiocy by giving dude a healthy ass deal with even less information , at least the eagles saw him in practice on the reg

They were hedging bets exercising the $5M option on Vick and limiting liability but keeping Kolb on a one-year deal, albeit a bloated one.

I think they managed the situation pretty well.

I also don't know that Vick is getting turned loose because he makes too much money. That is certainly not helping his cause, but overall he is a veteran guy and this is a rebuilding team. Why would he even WANT to stick around? Some team will pay him well, he's got a big deal left in him.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

at the Dome. Dude was gettin bounced off the ground like a NERF ball. Only thing that saved him from continued abuse was injury.

injuries or no i didnt realise he was the 8th pick of the draft. I thought he was a second rounder. I know titans fans round here are generally low key and modest but we can talk about his bustyness, right?
