"NBA Monday 1/7/12. FUCKNY"

I miss my vacation already. was definitely not ready to come back to work today. It aint even that cold, but its cold.

Anyhow back to games and boxscore watching. Some interesting stuff tonight. Good schedule, not too many games.

OKC at Wash. Can I bet a gazillion dollars on the moneyline for OKC?

Bos at NY. Woulda been a fun game but Rondo with a freak suspension for buping a ref and then not cooperating with an investigation. Dumb.

Cle at Chicago. Kyrie vs the Bulls D

San Antonio at New Orleans- The General still been putting up huge #s despite losing.

Dallas at Utah- Dirk been dissin the moves the Mavs made or haven't made.

Orl at Portland- As a Houston fan I need Portland to lose. Wont happen tonight.

Memphis at Sac. Big Cuzz vs Zack and Mark

Cavs aren't that far off.

Sucks that Single Double is their best player because he is in the same position Jennings was in.

Maybe they should consider a Rudy Gay

him being an experienced chris copeland.

if he's not gonna rebound and can't defend, then he needs to be able to score at will. If he can't do that, he gon get hated on.

sorry.

on both ends....they called it tight early then let it get chippy and started callin it loosely lol

melo shooulda been tossed, chandler got a lil extra elbows thrown in, as did KG.

Kg still doin the moving pick/push someone pls send a tape to the league.

Knicks lose another physical game. They need to cut out all the tough guy bs and just play ball. They get involved in the macho crap and lose composure meanwhile pierce chillin banging slow motion step back jumpers while melo calling kg a ban.

now melo leavin the court immeadiately instead of the post game halfcourt meetup/prayer/whatever the hell they do? c'mon nigga.

rant over.

Agree on everything. This shit with the refs is really annoying. Even when things are good, they still complain all the time. And when things aren't good, they totally lose composure.

It looked like Kurt Thomas tried to stop him, but was unsuccessful.

It was a poorly officiated game, but two of the three incidents in question were initiated by KG.

If there's a close Knicks-Celtics game, Pierce is gonna hit a huge step back late. Always. Can't stand that dude. He could play until he's 60 and he'd still hit game-winners at the Garden.

Felton, Shumpert, Melo, Amar'e and Chandler

Anything else doesn't make any damn sense

NOT only that, but we have to start the game featuring STAT. Melo is gonna wind up getting his not matter what the fuck happens , we have to make a conscious effort to get the ball to STAT to set the tone.
not only does Amare have to start, he has to be featured at the beginning of the game.

felton/kidd/shumpert/melo/chandler. melo @ the 4 is devastating. chandler and amare are both pick n roll bigs. both operate in the same space and clog the paint.

2nd unit prigioni/jr/novak/stat/sheed, optimally.
stat has a high post big man which allows him space in the lane, and 2 shooters that keep defenses honest.

if you wanna go small, then felton/shumpert/jr/melo/stoudemire.

they got back into this with intelligent rotations and ball movement. this is NOT how Nate would have coached this group back into the game.

and Lillard set the tone by acting like it mattered.

it's honestly kind of a surreal feeling seeing the EXACT SAME GUYS looking like whole different people because the yoke of Coach Nate is off. it's almost disorienting.

Winning their division by about 5-6 games.
Gave Miami 20 twice.
Won season series against San An.

We supposed to be shook at a 6 point loss to the C's? In January?

They weren't gonna be the one seed in the East regardless.
Let's stay focused.

Report: Scott Skiles out in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks and coach Scott Skiles have decided to part ways, according to a report by USA Today.

Yahoo! Sports is reporting Bucks' assistant Jim Boylan will take over as head coach on an interim basis.

Skiles posted a record of 162-182 since becoming the team's coach for the 2008-09 season, reaching the playoffs just once in four years.

This season the Bucks stand at 16-16 and have currently lost four straight games.

Overall, Skiles has a career coaching mark of 443-433 in 13 seasons with the Suns, Bulls and Bucks.

I don't even feel like looking up how long he made it in Milwaukee. gonna wait to check it until the next time he gets a job so I can know where to set the over/under on his next firing.

Felton out and Melo missed a few of those 10 games also I think
Maybe he only missed 1 (the Sac one) I don't remember

Anyone who thought Jason Kidd was the long term answer at starting SG lol

Knicks have exceeded expectations so far and are about to be fully healthy in a month

But they do it when they need to.

And without rondo???

Smh

The question is how many rounds can they do it 4x out of 7.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.
