One of the worst, most disgusting anti-McNabb arguments is this "Brian Dawkins gets more love on the street than McNabb ever would....Dawkins was a purer LEADER...he led those teams... ...this is why we love Dawkins more...Dawkins is the better player."
Listen, you greasy-lipped, oily beard, runny diarrhea-having ass niggas:
Brian Dawkins is a SAFETY.
No SAFETY is EVER more important to a team than a good, pro bowl caliber QUARTERBACK.
EVER.
There's a reason almost nobody drafts safeties in the top 10 unless they are Sean Taylor-lite coming out. Because their responsibility doesn't add up to that of a QB. Almost *never*.
And so, of course:
Brian Dawkins was SUPERB.
He barked, And growled. And rolled on the floor and played a great centerfield.
I have nothing bad to say about dude. What a fun character.
But the only thing he was better at than McNabb was nicknames and youtube highlight videos.
And to suggest that he was more central to the Eagles' success of the 2000s than McNabb is being a liar. You were successful because of #5, the guy who threw the fucking ball to Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell, marched the Eagles through the playoffs without Team Obliterator, who took the team on his shoulders year in and year out.
That's the guy you should be cherishing.
So stop using Dawkins as an excuse to shit on McNabb:
"We don't fuck with McNabb, we like real niggas like Dawkins."
Just stop.
This is why you guys are getting what you deserve:
You got your "real dude who gets respect on the streets" QB who threw to better WRs than McNabb EVER DID and fucking SUCKS, didn't get the Eagles anywhere NEAR as far as McNabb ever did.
Being the Eagles QB is HARD. McNabb made that shit look EASY.

it's infinitely more telling that 2008 was the last year jim johnson was the DC. four times that year, they opponents under 10 points and gave up just 25 points in the first two rounds of the playoffs.
it was also dawkins' final season as an eagle. and thomas's. and runyan's. the two tackles in tandem and dawkins were the most significant pieces in the eagles' success. this is not something that's been invented since mcnabb left or because the team sucks now, it's been the reality all along.
further, pfffffft @ that dumb ass "no 1000 yard gainer" comment. please STFU. westbrook missed action (two full games, parts of others) so he had 900 something yards. desean jackson, whom i am certain you would talk up as a weapon for vick to make him look bad vis a vis mcnabb, was there and gained 900+ yards with a bunch of big plays, too. celek has a good of a year as any eagles tight end since keith jackson, except maybe chad lewis in 2000ish, which was also with mcnabb.
so please, STFU, you don't know fuck all about the eagles.
