"Thank you Ghost Al Davis: Terrelle Pryor named Week 17 Starter"
Fri Dec-28-12 05:05 PM by TheRealBillyOcean

http://www.ibabuzz.com/oaklandraiders/2012/12/28/pryor-to-start-against-chragers/

But this gives me something to look forward to for next year. He doesn't even have to do much. Just give a fan some hope. Cuz imo he's one of the few likeable people on the squad.

The other likeable dudes? All young guys, Lechler, and Sebass.

Of course he wants to play, but he's not an asshole about it. He's humble & wants to learn.

I've only followed him from us selecting him the Supp draft onwards.

Raider Fan everywhere wants to see pryor get in the game.

and you're talking about a fanbase who's coming off a major case of blue balls with the chucky rumors.

dennis allen with all his clock mgmt issues has had no idea what he's doing in his rookie year. but good for him for tossing a coin in week 17 and saying fuck it.

mckenzie has a shit ton of work to do. i was hopeful when he came aboard, but shit looks bleak right now. he inherited an al davis/hue jackson train wreck.

Yes because he's had sooo many reps with the first team offense this season right?

All those valuable game time snaps and he's proven himself to be mediocre...?

and the majority came against a 3rd team group of players in the 4th qtr of a pre-season game. he showed some flashes, but nothing that said 'this guy will dominate a legit NFL defense'.

i'd love for him to prove me wrong, i'm just not getting my hopes for it. he def has talent and athleticism, but as a qb, he leaves a lot to be desired (from what i've seen).

McKenzie has made one bad decision after another. It looks pretty clear that he is going to be a source for raiders problems, not a solution.

him since his days at Jeannatte back in High School. At the time, I thought he was Randall Cunningham reincarnated. He hasn't quite developed into the QB I thought he would (some of that can be attributed to poor coaching at OSU), but it would be great to see him reach his full potential.

..from cancer

and for some reason, we hired Nick Siciliano who was a glorified coffee fetcher as a QB coach...

Despite that Pryor is a better QB than most of the QBs taken in the 2010 draft

Lol at Gabbert, Ponder, Locker, and Mallett

He's way more athletic than Kaepernick who has a very weird release as well

I think his senior season would have been one for the ages but that's neither here nor there

Either ways the Raiders waited waaaay too long

Tebow has never looked competent in a pro football game. Therefore, no quarterback deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as that sideshow.

I got some Tebow logic ether for anyone that wanna disagree.

The Steelers were in 0 coverage that entire game. In other words that game don't count.

What happened in Detroit and New England? Where's the stat line?

You're a Jets fan so you really not in a position to defend Tebow. If Tebow was competent there's no way Sanchez starts over him as the season progresses. Tebow sucks so bad the third string QB started over him twice.

that you just said that throwing for 300 yards in a playoff win "doesn't count" as playing well as a quarterback.

I think he had problems gripping the ball.

He just needs to put more zip on his passes. Some of them floated.

Other than that, what I saw was good enough for me.

He knew what he was doing. He was competent.

He competed.

But more importantly he made plays. He made plays when shit broke down as well.
