"Andre Drummond might turn into a player"

Next Center Superstar? I dunno.

But he looks like he's slowly putting it together each game I watch.

His timing on defense is good already.

He's just a big ass child right now.

And as I typed that they showed some Coors Cold Hard Facts....Fav tv shows: Boondocks & Family Guy.

i was visiting a friend in OKC and he had good tickets to the game so we went.

Drummond scored 22 and grabbed 8 rebounds, dude is BIG. If he can play like that this year then in the future he will likely be a top big man in the league. I think Detroit will have a great frontcourt in the future as Greg Monroe will act as such a good foil and complement to Drummond both are very different players. They could have a decade together.

I see no point in 2012 to still be starting Maxiell and for them to be splitting minutes. You're not going anywhere this year, if you're gonna do anything in the future it's gonna be based off of a Monroe/Drummond frontcourt, might as well let them rock together now.

he had a shit year at uconn. he came out of hs early to play for a HOF coach who turned out to be an alcoholic asshole who was checked out the entire year. because the media hates young black men, drummond and lamb got blamed for the whole thing.

so give drummond a break and give him a cocoon. let him come in and give max effort for 10, 15 minutes to start. bring him along so that he's playing 20 minutes per by the end of the season.

if you (not just you...anyone) just gonna flip it, there's no use in making everyone get on record before the season starts.

this is huge problem here. now when he's an all star or or some such next year, dudes gonna start with that "well, how hard is it to predict a lotto pick is an all-star"

i still can't get over everyone now acting like harden's success was EASY to predict.

like, seriously, until this search function gets better, bammas can just lie and lie and lie and lie.

I've watched this kid since he was a sophomore in High School- he is just scratching the surface of what he can be. he was one the fastest player on the Huskies and by all parties who actually saw him day to day, considered as good an athlete as Stanley Robinson, who is off the charts. He is a smart kid who is learning in a league where for the first time he is playing against folks his size who have more skills. Only a handful of folks can match his physical ability...the skills will catch up. The biggest question with him coming in was did he give a fuck? Obviously he does...the bamma is strong in him.

All this controlling the message/agenda bullshit is a smokescreen.....

it IS about controlling the TRUTH...i'm tired of cats lying about how good or how bad they thought someone would be. does it mean that much to everyone to not just be WRONG? why bammas gotta start jockeying for position AFTER it becomes obvious a dude is a beast or a bust?

like, where that derrick williams bandwagon at? dogg, dudes on this board should at least have the DECENCY to speak up and say "i'm done with that dude...he sorry...i was wrong"...i did that with beas. it wasn't difficult. but, nah...that's not what happens here. people just get quiet and walk away like a big head ass kid who been playing wit matches and done set someone house ablaze.

and don't let a dude turn out to be good...OMG!!! the scramble for a piece or a share of stock is disgusting.

they know who they are (Truth, Ernie, who strategically stayed outta the "truth and justivity" thread, concretechuck...many, many more)

but, for you to up a thread you made after the season started AFTER you called him ike austin jr....it jive blew me, dogg. lil bit. it ain't no "he progressing faster than i thought" type deal...it's a WRONG type deal.

like, i was WRONG about lillard and i knew it right away and i said, "i'm out...i don't wanna be on the hook for this...i'mma just say i was wrong"

nothing wrong wit being wrong, dogg. you think i'mma still be defending austin rivers if he not VASTLY improved this time next season? nah, he going in that pile with nolan. i ain't supporting that foolishness.

this is seriously the worst board i frequent in terms of posters being held accountable for player evals. i've seriously never seen anything like it. you can't up people lies up to certain points in times and people KNOW it and so they lie with impunity.

you try to lie like dudes do here on realgm, scout, the coli, itsbx, bgol, insidehoops, prosportsdaily...oh, you gettin fried, because them threads gettin upped QUICK. everybody be like "oh, he ain't even like so and so and now he tryna be friends? *search...isolate screen name...enter player name...looks at EVERY POST that user has ever made about that player* oh, this bamma lying...this going up"

that's how it SHOULD be here, too. it's not. and i'll be honest...it's been pissing me off for a good two years.

part of the fun of talking sports is enjoying the W and partying off Ls. i've always been upfront about this. now, y'all can sit and pretend like this ain't at least 90% of what we do here everyday, but i know that's why i like talking sports. now, if we can't even have that...the hell are we doing?

and y'all tryna clown me because i wanna institute some kinda HONOR system. you fukkin scoundrels!

This thread is me tuck rolling out of the truck before it crashes.

I have no problems with being wrong.

Just like you said, BK for me will get essentially recruited over with the hype. I like him, but I can't be watching his games if he doesn't start putting together strings of good games and learn how to pass. I'd rather sit through a whole Bulls game and wait for Teague to maybe get in with Nazr. Or go watch the chucker triumverate in Charlotte freeze my young dude out or Balki freeze my other dude out with his forced floaters.

Sidebar: I was watching the N.O./Memphis game the other night and Austin was guarding Jerryd. Shit was like attack of the clones.

I'm not an agenda guy but the lack of accountability and lie-mongering is def out of hand. Man up, take the L, and move on. Spinning and running doesn't change anything.

Or the more likely scenari was that we were able to trade up to get him. I think he was Morey's #1 target. Having him behind Asik right now would be great.

Morey was looking for the dude who'd outplay his rookie contract quickest w/ most upside and had time to grow.

I remember proposing in a post last summer that he send Lowry and the #13 for Portland's 6th.

He tried his damndest, couldn't get him.
