because Belize does not have a stadium which meets CONCACAF'S minimum standards for the Champions League, the spot normally reserved for Belize's club champion was reallocated to El Salvador, since it was the only Central American nation to send a team to the 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals.

Caledonia AIA (Trinidad), W Connection (Trinidad) and PR Islanders (Puerto Rico) all qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League. Caledonia AIA won the 2012 CFU Club Championship over W Connection. PR Islanders won the 3rd place match over Antigua Barracuda.

Caledonia AIA will play in Group 4 with the Seattle Sounders (USA) and Marathón (Honduras).

W Connection will play in Group 8 with Xelajú (Guatemala) and Guadalajara (Mexico).

Puerto Rico Islanders will play in Group 5 with the Los Angeles Galaxy (USA) and Isidro Metapán (El Salvador).

it got really chippy and frustrating at the end. a lot of flopping and wild tackles from FAS with no calls.
They applied more pressure after the 3rd goal and our defense fell apart.
