The overall quality of play wasn't necessarily as high as you might expect from the matchup. But that's nitpicking...still enjoyable, although I think Spain will look back and feel like they should have finished them off well before full time.

Broadcasters going on about taking off Bruno instead of him, which is of course correct, but even they're doing it cautiously, presumably because Fox has spent so much energy hyping CR7 as the focal point of the match.
And that makes me wonder what the power dynamic really is on that squad. Like, is Martinez scared of pissing Ronaldo off? And when the other players see Bruno go off, then CR7 driving yet another free kick into the wall, then being offside and killing a potential counter because he just couldn't be bothered to get back, what do they think? Are they so in awe of him that they don't question any of it?
