a lot of talk here in Philly about noodle arm QBs ...both Minsew and Hurts throw lollipop deep passes... and I was reflecting on how successful Peyton was in DEN noodling passes to space...and Thomas running under them $hit was basically unstoppable RIP
I hate seeing young men die. He's def underrated. Put up some absolute monster numbers for a five year period. Raw in college as well. Even more importantly from the reports he was an AMAZING and KIND human being.

completely uncoverable by one guy, but because of the talent in the backfield with the option, it was hard for teams to commit a safety to him every play

i was at the 2009 game in atlanta and the ACCCG in Tampa. in the ACCCG we kicked soooooo many FGs and we were starting to feel like Spiller was gonna just gonna keep scoring TDs and outpace us, and Bebe had been totally quiet up till then.
then bang.
70 yd TD late in the 3rd to open just enough of a cushion to ensure that we would at least have a chance to win the game at the end. sure enough Spiller scored again and did most of the work for Ellington to get a short one. Nesbitt was a warrior on that last drive to win but without Bebe's big play it wouldnt have mattered.
the duel between Spiller and Nesbitt in that game was something Ill never forget
