"NBA Trade Deadline Post 2021" Tue Feb-23-21 02:05 PM by mrhood75
Yeah, it's a month off, but the talk is starting to bubble.
Sixers are looking to trade for a shot creator to counter the Nets. They apparently covet Lowry, but are also looking at Lonzo Ball, Fournier, and Hill.
Mavericks are looking to move Porzingis, but good luck at off-loading the rest of that nearly $160 million contract (he's only on year 2). Cuban has contacted the Warriors, but I doubt that it happens.
Also, Drummond gets traded somewhere at some point.
In non-trade news, Rockets looking into waiving Cousins, who wants more playing time. He'd be a solid enough pick-up for someone.

It's a bit wider open than I think most thought at the start of the year. Genuinely seems like the East is a 2-way (at best 3-way) race and the West has the Clippers, Utah, and the struggling ass Lakers.
Dubs look like a hard out in the playoffs, too. Should be interesting.
He should be traded. He is 34, and is definitely in his last years. So going to a true contender would be ideal. However, I would be shocked if they do trade him. He is possibly the most loved raptor in raptors’ history ,and him and derozan put that team on the map.
Plus, the team is playing in Florida for the season, and then tack on playing in Florida during the bubble, he has been away from his family for a long time. It would be somewhat classless and disloyal to trade him now. I know the NBA is business, but a sudden trade of Lowry would be unusual....But hey maybe it happens.
I think Evan Fournier would be the better target. He can get any shot that he wants and Orlando isn’t going anywhere. Plus they have Ross who is instant offense and would be an immediate start.
ALL HAIL THE KING of LOSING: LEBRON Bulls | Bears | White Sox | Yankees | Notre Dame | Illinois | Chelsea | Real Madrid

Maybe Philly would be the best destination, since he is a native.
But I would still be shocked if it happens. Plus if Toronto isn’t getting a center it wouldn’t make sense...Toronto clearly needs a center, so going after Drummond would be ideal.
Philly can offer Maxey and Picks...but Raps already have a handful of guards.
