The funny thing to me is how jazzed Lakers fans seemed over him because he was putting up numbers. They gave him the minutes and they had no one else. Numbers aren't everything. But these guys actually watched him play. OK player but not a guy I'd take in the top 10. He's still young enough that I'm willing to be patient.
The one thing that bothers me a great deal is that the playmaking isn't there all the time. It appears to be something he "can" do but it's not really his primary goal when he's out there.
That playmaking ability was what I was intrigued by and without it being a constant in his game I'm not sure he's more than a scrubby ass gunner because he's not athletic enough to be a legit #1 scorer.
As far as us having fuck all after BI, I don't agree with that at all. We have some quality players, just no superstars. I don't know how much better a guy like JYJ can get and I think JC is showing that this is his peak which I'm fine with at his price tag.

He can't just take the L on Jah, because then he admits defeat against KAT. The only place KAT/Jah isn't completely over is in his own head, but he's still not letting go.
But the problem is that his original L is now making him take other Ls. Hence him starting in Embiid, who has already done more in the less than 20 games than Jah did all last season. All Quinn gotta do is do whatever Teague did in the league (and that's not a lot). I only kept carrying it over to other players cuz Quinn was still in college and we got other pg's. It went from Teague to Harrow to Andrew.
It wasn't Grayson and Andrew. It was Grayson and Booker. Booker gone. Who am I compare Grayson too? I can't compare NBA stats to playing the University of Virginia Corey Alexanders.

Improved every part of his game from college, especially finishing with the ball in his hands in the half-court, where he was Matt Jones-level terrible in college, and displaying a better feel for the game.
But I don't exaggerate when I give you credit for being the *only* person who had LaVine over Randle-- anywhere. Mock drafts, scouts, here... no one had LaVine over Randle. IIRC, KB and I gave you a raised eyebrow when you picked him over Randle on our podcast.
LaVine was never going to go over Randle unless you were Kevin Costner in Draft Day writing "Draft Zach LaVine" on a Post-It before leaving in the morning for your job as the Lakers GM. So if it was a horrible pick (I still don't think it was), then it was the horrible pick that literally anyone would've made at the time other than you.
I don't see anything here about you thinking LaVine should be picked above Randle... and none of your replies in the Draft post or Justivity post indicate it either. If that's what you're implying by your "noted" comment.

Everything about his game is underrated because of the dunking. I hate when actual good basketball players get passed over because they're too good of an athlete. It's weird. I just don't know what scouts and GMs want sometimes.

Zach's always been a good catch-and-shoot guy, he was just always lousy at UCLA in pick-and-roll and the half-court. And I was scared by all the people saying they wanted to turn him into a PG. He was just so damn raw. I don't want to see the list of players I took above him, lol.

athleticism to be a legit 4 and he does have the skill set to be a 3.
