"O no poust about the Cubs-Pirates play-in game?"

I feel for the Bucs, better season than LA or NY and they are about to be staying home. If you're not watching, checking out the home run in the top of the third inning. That ball was fucking crushed.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Maybe they would consider that for Game 5--if he threw 3 and 5 it would be two days rest--but not for Game 2. I imagine Game 5 also depends on Lester's performance in Game 1.

And you will know MY JACKET IS GOLD when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

This unspoken "rules" bullshit is beyond bitchmade.

Back in the day, there were folks like Don Baylor, who leaned in and got hit by pitches. You had folks who would throw behind a player, and you had the occasional beaning, but not this twice a week shit.

Arrieta was dominating the Bucs and the MANLY shit to do is find a way to get on base and score. Throwing at him was bullshit.

Back in the day, damn near everyone threw their bat one way or the other...

I can't even imagine Rupert Jones playing in this era.

*end rant*
