"11/16 nba"

Melo killing wilson/gallo...doin a lot of work in the post too.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

3rd yr player option.

Sac got a good discount. Not having to pay him another max and 13 million per is a solid deal for Rudy.

Not to mention him coming up small in crunch time for 3 consecutive post-seasons.

-Dude has beef w/ Bosh
-Dismissed Wade
-Downplayed Kawhi's playoff performance
-Has been getting T'ed up at the same rate as Boogie for the past 2 seasons
-Complains about being tired of coming second & proceeds to disappears in crunch time while being guarded by much smaller cats such as Chris Paul/Tony Allen.

Dude has basically turned into Dirk w/ an inferior complex.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!

He usually makes the clutch shots down the stretch, right now he is the last guy in the league you want with the ball in his hands in the final seconds.

Westbrook's OT numbers ae so bad they don't even seem real.

He had the type of performances that would have had Bron crucified in the past 2 post-seasons.

Russy was out against the Grizz in 2013 so you can't blame him for KD disappearing in the 4th quarter of the last two games.

Then Reggie Jackson had to carry the team in 2014 against the Grizz to save their season b/c Tony Allen/Conley were locking up KD/Russy.

Chris Paul's midget ass was also locking him up in the 4th quarter when they Clips came back & won Gm 4.

Bonus: Where was KD in overtime when old ass Timmay was taking over the Gm 6 of the WCF after Diaw had busted his ass all game long?.......He was scoreless & this happened on a potential game winner: http://stream1.gifsoup.com/view7/20140601/5045575/lance-stephenson-blowing-on-kevin-durant-o.gif

KD has won an MVP, and likely could win subsequent awards of the like, perennial All-Star, and puts up the kind of performances that should give him a pass when criticizing someone of D12's caliber (or expected caliber).

I'd have an issue if dude was a BUM talking all that mess

As for D12, when Pau Gasol calls you out, you got problems.

Dude has been burnt by Bean in the past 2 games.....he dropped 16 consecutive points on Klay in their last game that Kerr had to put Iggy to cool him down. Besides, Klay out there SPOTTING up or running through screen & getting spoon fed by Curry/Bogut....I would love Klay to carry the team w/o Curry & Bogut then we will see how great he is on BOTH ENDS. LOL @ cats trying to sell Klay being the best shooting guard in the league citing his defense just because he's a better defender than Harden & Curry.

Cory did kill him, I dont think he knew Cory was that quick and explosive but lets not act like he was playing solid defense on Parker.

I want anyone to honestly watch this shit and tell me how many of these play from Steph last night were Jeremy's "bad" defense

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oOYUUNd2XI

The whole first minute is Curry dropping dimes to Bogut with terrible fuckin rotations from Boozer and Hill.

at :55 he gets screened and Jordan Hill just backpedals offering no resistance.

1:10 becaus eof the previous play he goes under - which you should never do on steph and gets a shot in his face. (poor decision)

Ronnir price til 2:30

2:30 (another poor decision) he helps off Curry which again you never do - but look how easy Klay gets to the paint so hes trying to help.

2:41 he gets backdoored ball watching, but Curry pushes him off. If hes not watching ball he can offer more resistance to getting pushed.

2:52...maddening Boozer...

3:00 no pick hes able to stay on Curry - forces a pass-- late close out-- open 3

3:25 Poor decision, shouldve stayed on the switch with Dray

3:36 got scored on - was in positon - just a good play.

4:02. Nothing you can really do about that- just got busted in the eye.

Im not even mad at his individual defense. Im mad he isnt shooting on offense. Kobe of all people- has begged him to do it -- and he still wants to pass to guys for 20 footjumpers. At some point if he doesnt score these blowouts will keep happening. Just shoot the fuckin ball.

he wants to play the "right way" but for this team right now there is no "right way."

Utah is interesting but we should hold home court. On the road trip, Miami is probably tough and possible loss, but we should beat OKC, Orlando, Detroit. Charlotte, etc. After the next 8 games, I figure at Chicago is a pencilled in loss, but we've got a very good opportunity to set ourselves up very well.

The Rockets have had the weakest strength of schedule (SOS) so far & the Grizz have had the 4th weakest SOS; they are tied for the #1 seed. Meanwhile the Spurs/Kings have had the strongest SOS & are the #9/8 seed respectively.

http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/powerrankings/_/sort/sos

The Spurs beat the Dubs in Oakland w/o Splitter/Belly/Patty on the 2nd night of a back-to-back.......so beating bad teams to get the top seed isn't going to get you anywhere, esp. when OKC might end up being the #8 seed.

You should be looking at their records in relative to their SOS to determine quality wins.

Wins are wins are wins. And this problem this team had last year was dropping games to teams they were supposed to beat, particularly at home. So making sure that you beat all the bad teams that you play goes a long way to determining your seed at the end of the year.

So maybe it's time to stop acting so sensitive.

Again, OKC might very well end up w/ the #8 seed so good luck to whoever finishes w/ the #1 seed. The West is all about match-ups so just pray Bogut/Lee are relatively healthy at the end of April whether the Dubs are the #1 or #8 seed otherwise it's a lost cause.

lol @ me being sensitive about what the Spurs do in the regular season. I just brought up the Spurs b/c they are a possible playoff opponent who actually played the Dubs & beat them handily when the Dubs were looking like world beaters thus they are more relevant than any of the bottom feeders you mentioned. BTW your last statement was what caught my eyes "we've got a very good opportunity to set ourselves up very well.".........Set yourself up for what? For the #1 seed? Otherwise I don't know what beating scrubby teams means anything whether the team gives a fuck or sleep walks through the entire game. The Nuggets used to feast on bad teams & kept getting bounced in the 1st round year after year.

Granted they had no business letting OKC be in this game, but OKC is a tough team and they pack the paint defensively.

Our defense is still playing well as a team. Its going to be us and Golden state for the 1-2 seed.

This week the schedule gets tougher with Memphis, LAL, Dallas.

One gimme in the middle, but Memphis and Dallas are good challenges. The Parsons rematch should be fun and we always struggle vs Dallas.

Lot of people are giving James shit for shooting under 40% , but hes doing a great job of making plays, and I don't think he's overshooting like he did sometimes last year. This season the ball is generally moving a lot better and the offense is more fluid.

----
Jeremy Lin and the Lakers.

I dont know how long I can keep staying up late to watch these games. Everything thats wrong about basketball on the defensive end. Just embarassing.

Last night was probably the most embarassing game ive had as a Lin fan. Not defensively but just his unwillingness to just take the fucking shot.

At some point like Kobe says, someone is beating you down and robbing you, you gotta just go get your shit back. How far you gonna let them go?

2 fuckin shots. Seriously. Just shoot - its better than passing out to Jordan Hill tobrick a 19 footer.

Pack the paint & force them to beat you w/ jumpers.....Ariza, Harden, DMo, Pat Bev, Jet, Papa, Cisco, Canaan yeah keep launching jumpers; no lobs for Dwight & no gaps for Harden to penetrate then their offense turns into complete doo-doo. This is where they miss Parsons creativity b/c now all the attention on the perimeter is on Harden as Ariza is camped in the corner thus the defense always know where to find him on rotations. Parsons is also missed in the open court since he was very good at getting the rebound & creating fast-break opportunities. Jeremy was also better at getting to the rack & executing the PnR than Canaan.
