I'm probably one of the few O's fans you'll find that cannot figure out the city's love affair with Weiters. I guess I see the light. He's a 6'5" catcher and catchers that size develop knee issues as they age so eventually he'll have to move to 1B or DH.

He has good pop as a hitter but not sure you want a 1B or DH that hits .240. Positive, he is only 28 and some guys figure it out later than others.

Couldn't be happier for Rizzo, carried our sorry offense all season.

I would've personally enjoyed seeing Morneau make it form the NL, but Rizzo's been too good to leave off. Although Anthony Rendon probably disagrees.
