Gather some enthusiasm with two good candidates, and then slide a month of Matt Wieters right by everyone. Very smooth.

I'm probably one of the few O's fans you'll find that cannot figure out the city's love affair with Weiters. I guess I see the light. He's a 6'5" catcher and catchers that size develop knee issues as they age so eventually he'll have to move to 1B or DH.

He has good pop as a hitter but not sure you want a 1B or DH that hits .240. Positive, he is only 28 and some guys figure it out later than others.

Because he's got no business starting this year. But to be fair, Jonaathan Lucroy should be starting over Yadier.

That I'm almost shocked. He's crushing it offensively and defensively.

Or during the early '00s. Feels weird. But I'm happy for all of them. Would have liked to have seen Gray get in too, but I'm not pissed or anything.

We're all going to feel like a bunch of assholes if Erick Aybar visits the Springfield Mystery Spot and falls into the same vortex as Ozzie Smith.

I would've personally enjoyed seeing Morneau make it form the NL, but Rizzo's been too good to leave off. Although Anthony Rendon probably disagrees.
