"gotta give Dwight his props"

Lillard saved Portland, but Dwight's play should be recognized

for the entire series, he played like the absolute beast he should be

Houston ran their offense through him down the stretch. I don't think I've
ever seen him get as many late-game touches

he knocked down his free throws (for the most part), defended the paint,
and was a monster on the boards.

most of all, he was been composed and handled himself like a true leader

I hope this is the Dwight we see for the next few years

But yeah D12 showed out.

The real story of this series tho imo is 1. Aldridge bringing back the midrange game and 2. James Harden is not a top player. Can't win with him as your #1.

I became a believer in his ft shooting down the stretch of this season.

If we can get him to stay at a consistent 60% that alone is gonna help immensely.

We know what he is defensively and on the boards....but offensively, he showed a level of patience and comfort that he never has before, and against a very solid defense in R Lopez. Many props to Dwight, keep on working.

people that think Howard is a Bamma ass clown have every right to celebrate the Rockets L...

But...that's as far as it should go...Howard was the best Rocket in that series and played his silly ass off...He at least deserves that much props...

He showed (once again) that he is the best center in the league...As a Bulls fan I would take him on my squad in a minute (I still laugh at some of the Bulls fans claiming they wouldn't trade Noah for Howard...Like what planet are these mufuckers living on???...)

And yeah...I don't think Howard's haters should be partying too hard...Once that team gets a real coach them boys are going to be a nightmare to deal with...

he got bounced in the first round...in fact, I would add that he needs to spend the summer adding a couple of offensive moves. He is still very predictable.

Howard came to play...Harden was very shaky in that series beyond this last game...

But really Lakers fans who still have it out for Howard/Rockets need to understand that the Rockets took that L because of their coach...

Kevin was TURRIBLE....

but folk aren't look objectively at this. Dwight balled. Period, end of story (c)BDK. It's just more fun for people that have an axe to grind to continue this narrative. There is no way you could have watched that series and have anything bad to say about his play. He came to get down and he did. It's really that simple.

Muhfuckas are going out of their way to make McHale the escape goat, but that dude Harden wasn't much to write home about either

We'll see if this "it was the coaching" excuse holds water next year if/when they replace the coach and we get another YouTube compilation of Harden failing on defense

That whole leadership stuff is overrated....In the NBA u need the right coach that can put players in the right situation and also be respected enough to call out the stars (basically someone to let Harden know his defense is trash and that he needs to do better...)

McHale ain't that...

and Chandler, whatever his faults, tries on both ends. the same clearly can't be said Harden. to wait 5.5 games in the playoffs before trying on defense is some shit not even dwyane wade would do.

When he was w/ OKC dude used to checked Kobe in the 4th quarter & did a decent job. He gets traded to Houston & all of a sudden he is putting ZERO effort on the defensive end....but McHale ain't doing nor saying shyt about it. One of the responsibilities that comes w/ being a coach is disciplining the players & McHale miserably failed in that aspect for the past 2 season.

WHAT'S GOOD *****? What's REALLY good?!?!????!!! Ha HA!
