Green with envy
I meditate on pleasurable moments
In pink and purple to mellow
The gold and black stripped tiger that rages in my heart

Removed from the graying cement jungle
Released from fashionably leathered armor that harness
My feet from 9 – 5
My soles are healed and restored in the Georgia clay

The sweetness of red raspberries, blue blueberries,
Purple plums tame my taste buds and unplug me
From the matrix of technology wired to my tender digits

I rest my soul wrapped in its coco brown covering
In the warmth radiating from the golden stream of light
Glowing in and around my secret garden

In a world distorted with images and realities of
Despair dis-ease, chaos and destruction
A place of peace and love resides in the spirit of Pappleberry
