Every call to a love one
is pain
Seems as though they're all giving up
the gift to live

It's hard out here

A straight 'A' student
supporting a child
is pressed to work at
Mcdonalds flippin 'poison'
to
serve the neighborhood
the only job hiring so
she works to support her
little boy

It's hard out here

I write what is felt withen me
So then another call comes through
and it's my best friend
Sounding faint on the line
saying she's extremely sick
all kind of ills attacking in one breath

But I know there's no way for me to help'
I'm in the east and she's in the west
All I could to was end the call
and let go & let God

There's more than two calls received, but
who wants to read reality' of what we're
all facing just about?

and it's best to just
let go _ and let God'

Tonight my heart is heavy
and needed to release
what concerned me most


Head is up'not down
and there's a light
at the end of this tunnel.
