I know I've been MIA, but I'm finally starting to feel something stir in me other than apathy and righteous rage, and it's starting to feel good to create again. I'll be around to contribute more soon. As an act of good faith, here's a haiku: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Seduction
Midnight, damp and thick Easily, she leaps good sense Thirst quenched by moonlight

last sentence i wrote about it provoking a question makes no sense to you, consider the fact that I just realized that a missing avatar is shown in the form of a question-mark for mac users and for pc users it is an "X". The "x" is really annoying to look at, but the question mark is more aesthetically pleasing. I am using my wife's mac today, but every other day i would be using a pc.....so, earlier i thought you changed your avatar to a question mark, but then I saw someone else with a question mark and realized that I'm a total dumb-dumb....
I appreciate your candor, Otto, so I will return the favor in-kind.
The sad truth is that I became too lazy to concern myself with the upkeep of my avatar. Only later did I realize the unintentional link between the chaotic nature of my handle and the question mark/unknown placeholder of my avatar (I use Safari, so I see a question mark too.)
So I guess my avatar became retroactively cooler? Nah... I'm still just being lazy.

why I love this last line so much, I cannot tell you. But, it just seems like it fits; like there could be no other ending line to this haiku. Always a pleasure to read you man... *nods*
