All those creatures of God
Whom my mouth cursed upon for the annoyances you've carelessly have shown to me
My words have scorned your thought to be angered spirit at that unknown moment
I felt your hurt from my over powered emotion and words spoke

That is not who I am to become here on this earth
I know better
I knew better

I can be better

I failed to realise on many occasions past that WE are truly NOT our HAIR'persay, as though many still think we are not bodied up the same. Red blood, Heart, Intestines (Organs) and so .....("on & on'-Erykah Badu)

I liked this. First off, well written, which is always a treat. More importantly, though, it was chock full of DETERMINATION. Not necessarily hope or positive thought or any of that, but just, at least to my mental ears, cold, angry determination. Which is a facet of life that is so necessary to a full and happy life, yet so many poets, MCs, and prophets fail to discuss.
