Its really pretty cool, the way I come and go. It lets me drop in on my favorite writers here and there and see on where they've progressed to. Its like seeing a niece or nephew once every six months; you're shocked each time how much they've grown, how much fuller and more complete they are. Except writing is a skill, and as long as we keep doing it, we never stop growing.

I know I say this all the time, but you've come a long way. Further than I would have ever thought you would have the first time I read your shit. This one here had my head nodding even without a beat. In particular, theres two things that really impress me about how you've changed as a writer. You've turned away from using old, tired rhymes that anyone can use (i.e., love/above, old/gold, etc etc), essentially stepping up your rhyme scheme complexity. This magnifies the power inherent to the words and rhythm. The other is your subject matter has matured right along with you. There's still that aggressive undertone, but it works mixed together.
