and the ideas
the history
the mistakes
the pain, the broken backs, and the oppression

The fulfilled dreams,
the happy seconds...
the bloodshed.

My existence is an unidentified length of time
that will exceed 24 years,
though probably last less than 100...

I've just realized I don't have time-
any time
To waste on these theoretical concepts
such as 'ideals'
I will live according to the facts presented to me today.
I will do my best to move forward in a fashion that will allow me the greatest chance of happiness
with the least risk of damaging another's
I will challenge oppression when it happens it my presence-
I will feel no guilt for that which does not,

for that which I have no power to affect.
