"more lessons to ignore"
Tue Jan-19-10 12:04 AM by gsquared

All fear is a fence
a barrier of limitation that is
straight-up illusion.

I intend to free myself from these limits
and live eternally, limit-less
without this fear
living within
a language
that
doesn't
need
the
word

you placed the words in each line... their placement sort of looks like a falling star, tear drop, etc...

word

plus, this was simply enjoyable to read.

Hey G,

I'm glad I stopped by to read this morning on the off-chance that I might catch a gsquared gem. This is exactly what I needed today, I felt the fence building in me, so I need to take it down. Thanks for that mental power.

Peace,

Otto

So,

I've been thinking about this for a few days now and I've come to the conclusion that this poem is the opposite in meaning to "Mending Wall."

This isn't a profound thought of mine, obviously, but I was just letting you and everyone know what I was thinking. And of course, your piece, helps me to uncover new layers of "Mending Wall" that I never considered before....

Peace and Warmth

I miss your work and your spirit.

This is such a great piece. It's honesty is what makes it so clean and pure...What a great title, too.

And the thing is, it expresses exactly the way I feel. I don't know if you've ever read A Course in Miracles, but this is the goal of the course "to remove all blocks to the awareness of love's presence."

Holler at me if you're around.

With Peace,

Otto

I didn't catch this on the first run, but I'm glad I witnessed it the second time around. I've always been a fan of your work, the way you phrase things, even when I don't agree. But this was just nice to read all around, and for sharing it, I thank you.

These profound words are felt deeply. Fear is indeed an illusion that is only as powerful as we allow it to be.
