this music makes you feel, move and wonder.
'let the horns go'. the music sounds like its creepin up on something. like its coming from over your shoulder and you come in with a flow that matches that ambiance. but you start spittin some lyrics that makes one turn around and look like..what? really? this is nice.
by the time 'freedom freedom' rolls around, you in the listener's face like, bam. here i am. and i am exactly who you think i am. ha. i digs.
love how you use your voice on 'eyes'. love what you revealing from the soul. love the way you let the track ride out at the end.
'4 minutes' is genius. 'who u' probably got some folks scared to say something. ha. love it. and again, love how you use that voice. 'relationship gentrification' is endearing in a way. sweet and real. 'ugly' lets me know your sense of humor. nice.
'don'tchu ever sing'is the track i keep singin and movin to. i think that one might be my favorite.
'madear ass niggas' and 'yea yea yea' i would like to dedicate to all these so called emcees that really aint saying nothing, got no soul, no beauty. once again gotta mention the way you use your voice, the flow. it sounds natural. these tracks making some 'rappers' sit down and reach deeper and maybe they wont spit another bar until they get some substance.
'choke, stop, down, 9-4' by the time you get to these tracks, it's pretty much clear we not listenin to no bs. its like, yeah...so many mentionable lyrics.
the last track, i dig the monologue at the end. true and real and yeah, i get that.
over all just great music here. passion, talent, gifted. perfect match of music and voice. that's something you cant learn. you just got it.
i hope folks aint sleepin on this for real. like, it needs to be heard so people can see how it's supposed to be done. @asiaradiant
