I haven't heard much from
You today, we've been playing
Phone tag
Or it seems I have been
The one calling and you are just
Yet to call back
I haven't received a text message yet
But I know how hectic
The day can get
I waited for you to come home,
Fell asleep reading a book
Didn't feel you by my side
Woke up, and looked out the window
Didn't see your car
The night light on your side of the bed
Was still on
You hadn't been home
Just as I was about to dial
A smile ran across my face
And I looked at the door
I can't believe I still do this
We're not together
Anymore
