As I sit under the stars Captivated by your creation I find peace in knowing my own perfection Jus as you made the ocean You made it so in making your own creation That which is me, oh how I praise Thee Some days I fail to thank you Focusing on my normalcy But when it all comes together What arises is an exquisite flower. I’m amazed at the waves As they “crash into me” And still I’m standing Not phased by the aggression The moon gives me light To see far into the night Unsure as to what’s to come when the sun arises But sitting here in the midst of you…I know whatever’s to come I am with you That’s Peace… The Deep Blue you inspire me Your hues of blues, greens and all the colors in between Make me want to know the more intricate parts of me I want to delve deep within I want no parts of the shallow end As I swim deeper and deeper I know we are one in the same There is no separation from my beginning and your end A beautiful creation Therefore, I say, Peace unto you
