Is it right that I still think of you late nights? Resuscitating love in a dream/ My heart still pumps to the rhythm of you Holding you in high esteem/ You define true swagger I’m not even trying to compare you But inside the lining of my soul you wrote Your name/ And the footprints of our time in eternity grace my hall of fame/ None can come close Love is alive in its innocents And beside the risk of failure, disappointment and disillusion Love still triumphs I know this your love lives/ I walk forward to see what the universe gives/ Though I want to press rewind Revive the path that I met you on/ during the blissful evening of the dawn/ I must continue on my journey I hope for you only the best I just wanted you to know I think of you before I lay to rest.
