O ya the politics, the power cuts, inflation rising three times since december, the politics, the education system, employement the damned politics... (sigh) i guess the weather makes up 4 just a fracation of a fraction of all that... coz wen the power's out u can see the stars again...

and some of them now try to cover it up with the Conscious Poet Gear (TM), available at all the Cool Kid Shops...because Che Guarava and Marvin Gaye aren't just iconic, they're DOPE on your tee.
And then some of us are like "fuck it" and watch zombie movies and read comics and write because we want to, not because it makes us cooler.

i respect and love that, but... what do you think about the concept of rebellion being sold to the masses as a way to.. fit in? i guess the merit of seeing che on a t is to go learn about him, but sometimes i think it has become more of a status symbol than anything that really draws from the intent in che's action... thanks for reading, welcome back.. peace

that's partially what i mean about some of these Poets...I don't think they're wearing the face of Che or whoever to raise awareness. I think they do it to raise their hipness factor.
