Smoke rolled from his nostrils like cumulous clouds calling for rain
The weather cats said rain this morning
Rain poured from her heart
As she spilled rivers
Washed over valleys and groves
Speaking of strange fruit

One tree
One branch
One perfect piece

An apple
A pear

Delicious in nature

Yet Eve in availability

Blunt exhaust floats through the skies between their eyes
Looking…waiting for
No chance at all
But it’s the waiting
It’s the waiting

Ash grows where blunt used to be
Eyes glaze
Over

Truth
Is…
