I couldnt tell what it was,
maybe it was the lightning
something reflected off the top of the horizon
i was minding myself
and deep in my gut
something was awry and i could feel it
but cant call whats up
and my spine started tingling
cold rushes in my forehead
springing into my stride
got me wondering what this energy is outside tonight
what brought me to this place
what designs are in my fate
as i stare down at my plate
and bite into my lifes daily meals
i keep an eye on the motion of the sacred wheels
flowing in the hot seat
watching myself through the eyes which are not me
something guardian is here trust me
i can feel it hear it here it is be it within us all
i was born on a sunny day in the end of the fall
its all relative to our experience
a lifetime doesnt really say much at all
without us none of this could have happened
im in love with these words this is more then rapping
wrapping my head with my finger tips dripping with hot spring showers
i slice tracks into place like i cut vegetables in the kitchen
something inside me lets me know this is what the world is missing
and its really not incomplete without it
but im here so i have to shine what ive found planted in my soil
though the words we read shine we on the grind with toil
and boil these words down to there essence and you only have to hear one thing
were all blessed every soul of king and queen
