im 17 years old, and i feel like we need to be real


maybe we should just sit back and relax/
let it all fade away into nothing/
thats the vibe im getting from the artists today/
maybe thats just they style of wordplay/
much different from mine, cant claim the same words that i say/
so some say its irrelevant to do it my way/
they dont understand the game and the way that i play/
and its funny how the capacity of their minds is under mine/
they undermine that its slipping, we need to regrasp the life/
we need to actually be spitting, instead of braggin on the mic/
its just i think this lifestyle is suitable/
and i think alot of new comers need to be more truthful/
you really cant talk about the 22's you be riding/
if you arent even old enough to have a drivers lisence/
so i leave you at this, whats to become of our lives/
if we sit back and do nothing as hip hop slowly dies/
