to remember things i would forget
like how it felt
when she left
i write to stay on top
of moments like now
when sleep won't
let me lay down
yeh i write
like poets and griot's
tellin short stories
findin hero's
n she'roes
in alleys
long lost to derelictions
lulliby n city life news
i write ta right wrongs
i did in da dark
i even write to make others start
find a spark
in little corners way deep
inside that little hole left
from guilts residue
i write cause i aint got nothin else ta do...RIGHT?
