that i've been a bit on the fence abt one of yr joints. i think it was 'cuz it really is smthg close to yr heart; i think the sentiments surrounding the...situation? kinda make the words struggle out.
as such, the first paragraph was a bit laboured...
second really picked up tho', as did the third.
& that last couplet was beautiful in its simplicity...
