"Militant"

Sparkling empire of poor tyrants
Already bankrupt but poised to strike
Still poverty never left them, though they sing praises
Of your richness dear sirs, and miss
Amidst this you find no balance
None to grasp in cruel illusion
Yet you make do where due is brushed aside like dew from prior nights
On workers feet
Sour cheeks will heed this warning
You taste change, watch the dollar
Canada and US exchange rate is on par
But if you paid your debts, so much farther
For below the gun strap on your belt lies the beast within your pockets
Who has far before now chewed the whole that eats your planet
Too bad that these games are the keys you seek to find
Too bad that these days might show their true color paler than the make up
Civilizations built on falsehoods taken up by lives with their life
Perhaps freedom is deserved by even them to find
Modern Beggars

Several things sets this flow apart from many of your others -- but I can't get into it right now!

Never~the~less -- This ain't no vegetable soup!

There's meat and potatoes in this stew based dish -- and it's hearty & spicy enuff to give a body ~HeartBurn~ --

I'm just gonna pick out the lines that made me burp:

>Sparkling empire of poor tyrants
>Already bankrupt but poised to strike

>Yet you make do where due is brushed aside like dew from prior nights
>On workers feet

>You taste change, watch the dollar

>Canada and US exchange rate is on par
>But if you paid your debts, so much farther
>For below the gun strap on your belt lies the beast within your pockets

>Civilizations built on falsehoods taken up by lives with their life
>Perhaps freedom is deserved by even them to find
>Modern Beggars

I'd ask for another helping, but I'm quite full now! --

I've always felt like words come through me & I write them down... they have no master --- gsquared ♥

Good looking out I hadn't read this one in a long time so it was nice to check it out too
I'm in the process of making a new album so maybe i'll throw this in there something

and i mean album-------------------(ofcourse there's always the one I was supposed to be doing earlier through okp, but my main movement right now is in full on creativity)

not that mixtape shit i've been on
fully self produced and everything
mostly dnb style / trip hop style beats
its going to be fun

Wildout,

Sorry for sleeping on this badass, bellicose and poignant piece....I really love the imagery of the dew-due (pun indeed). I love the allusion to "illusion" and I'm diggin that line about the gun belt and the keys one seeks being the keys one is playing with (paraphrased)....Great piece man...
