"yeah they manage to edge in~thats it though" Sat Dec-05-09 02:05 PM by Ezzsential
The sun needed a break, basked itself into the ocean the merry go round and horses spinning at the same time music played through the chimes of the wind blowing west blast through the air natural disaster everything is changing global warming the ice glaciers cascade down like a waterfall prism reflections of rainbows rotate into the flecks of my eye
things are changing? i ask as im standing and that terminator 2 nuclear bomb explosion scene the park kids playing slow motion
why try? i sit in the same position almost frozen everything moving around me bomb threats and world issues the gross domestic product and conspiracy news broadcasts subway squeeks and podcasts wreek of new technology stench anime and flat screen tvs action thriller movies
dumbfounded in the midst of those embarrasing thoughts turn the applets of my cheeks shades of pink and red
suddenly im in a marsh covered in willows sticking to me from dewy skin sun reflections of my curls spinning in circles like when i was little hammocks blowing in the wind ready to take a nap with my dog or walking across that brook over a log losing balance
back to that nonchalant smoke filled bar tripping and hearing those barely breathing laughs wearing stained teeshirts too trashy i exempt myself to stilettos long fingernails and sleek luxury cars rhinestone filled cellphones and it was too superficial
so its back to poetry
that fifth ammendment shyt college classics and deep discussions until i get bored again

This felt like home, and it feels like something I've been telling to myself a lot lately. I feel like we're all on some universal brainwave here... not to get too crazy with the analogies. I liked this piece a helluva lot, and unlike the other one of yours I posted on earlier, I really connected with this.
Well written, friend.

It's like: Things be changing / for better or for worse / but ain't a damn thang any ONE of us can do (by ourselves) / so do we get involved innnna "MOVEMENT" to make change happen in our defense / or do we fall by da wayside and get our bling~bling on / with our everyday petty issues / and just live life in our little neck a' da' woods / WATCHING CHANGE HAPPEN / for or against us?!?!?
