This is easily Eli Roth's best film (helps that he didn't write the script). It's tongue is firmly in cheek and the humor and jokes made me smile.

Make no mistake the throwback gore effects are gnarly, but it's like watching a vintage slasher as you're supposed to tell that it's fake.

This really is a cross between HALLOWEEN and SCREAM except not as good as either of those slasher films.

About ten years too late, but yeah this is the best GRINDHOUSE spin-off. What a werid, abrupt ending tho.
