Definitely more into this vibe in a 2 hour movie than in a 5 hour TV series. Still, love Vincent D'Onofrio-- and the head writer comes from Better Call Saul, so that's promising. I'll keep an eye out for what the reviews say.

...while it wasnt perfect (the ending seemed rushed, missing something - i heard the writers originally planned for 6 eps, but after they'd already started came the strike & budget cuts(?) so maybe thats why?...but, in spite of the rushed ending, the rest of the show was very satisfying to me.
i like the simple, straightforward story that allows CHARACTERS (main characters and supporting characters) to 'breath' and be more fleshed out. I actually cared about the characters in this show. thats a refreshing thing.
I totally was invested and believed the lead actress as Echo (Alaqua Cox)...i thought she was fantastic. She kicked ass--literally. I wont mention other well known characters because some are spoilers, but yall can prob figure out who im talkin about
the fight scenes were excellent...really creative, exciting and 'hard', raw choreography.
yeah, i wish they'd've invested in the full 6 eps, but whats here i REALLY dug.

Her original powers were to be able to “echo” or copy abilities that she saw someone else display. Now, they’re saying she has some connection to the Phoenix Force as the source of her powers.

The Nerdist channel and ScreenRant are gonna “Is this how they could introduce mutants/the X-Men?” themselves to death. There’s some cool action throughout the episodes, but it seemed like a pitstop for more Kingpin/Daredevil content.
