It's a very good horror comedy. This is a class act of balancing tone which it nails. Seriously hilarious at times with some true pulse pounding suspense on what exactly is M3GAN gonna do next.
Drops in January and if you can see it in Dolby, do it.

everyone was unlikable, and I wanted M3gan to kill everyone.
I don't know if the intent was to get you to root for Megan, but that's what it was for me.
On the flip, it was my daughter's first horror movie in the theaters, and she enjoyed it. So that's all I really cared about it.
Spoilers
They leave it open for a sequel, but not quite with Megan. Frankly, I came away wanting more Megan, and less of everyone else, so that's something. I'll probably see the sequel since my daughter enjoyed it so much. So hopefully they find a way to bring Megan back.

Like Kid friendly horror comedy.
I keep going back to a post a while ago I made about how come there are no comedies like we had in the early 2000s and I think who ever said all movies are comedies now and I think they had a point.
15 years ago this would have been a different movie. More kills, less comedy, maybe rated R.
Now I am an old dad, I am not mad at this change and can not believe that my parents allowed me to go see Friday the 13th the final chapter IN THE THEATER at SEVEN YEARS OLD!!!
