Saw this shit last night. I needed this as a break and pallette cleanser from all the awards movies.
This is an extremely fun sci-fi adventure film. Sure the family drama at the center of it is clichéd and you've seen it done better before, but it works. Great sound mixing here. Wish Dolby was doing 3D for this like they will for AVATAR 2.
Love how weird this shit is. If I saw this as a kid, I'd loose my little mind. Really wish we'd get more retro sci-fi adventures inspired by the old 1950s pulp magazines and comics.
Disney needs to keep making things like this.
Gonna take my godkids and see it in 3D over Thanksgiving weekend (animated films RULE in 3D). Let them have their minds blown while I vibe out on an edible.
My audience ate this up too. Every adult was into this.
