"Tár (Todd Field, 2022)"

Todd Field's first movie in 15, 16 years and it's his weakest one. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but not as good as his last two.

Not gonna be for everyone. Lots to chew on. Definitely too long.

One of Blanchett's best. She's born to play larger than life characters like this.

And the final scene is terrific. One of the best endings of the year, easily.

cate blanchett always knows how to push the boundaries, she should get
an oscar. i remember they had her shorts playing in the smithsonian,
like an art installation type of setting, it was so cool.
