"Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (David Yates, 2022)"
Saw this shit yesterday.
Much better than the first two movies and that's probably because J.K. has a co-writer this time out.
You're milage will vary here. I had a lot of fun, others might find this tedious. Big part of the problem is this feels like the second film in a trilogy. Sadly, there's still 2 more after this one. Like this shit should've stayed a trilogy like they first announced.
It still runs into the problem of being 2 different franchises within the Wizarding World melded together.
Still at least this moves the overall plot forward a little, the characters are actually well written now, and David Yates is awake after sleepwalking through the previous 2.
Plus this has rhe best magic duels (fights) in the overall franchise so far.
God I really wish they'd pull J.K. off of this and make the next one the last one
