>The Cissy/KGB stuff is my least favorite storyline of the >show. They've barely done anything with it, but I'm sure it's >still going to end up "important." I imagine it's the way that >Saint gets pulled back in, just when he's ready to walk away.
Sounds about right. I'm cringing and bracing for a big reveal that Alton isn't dead. I sincerely hope i'm wrong because this would put us firmly in SOA territory.
>>I LOVE Avi but if he's not dead it's gonna be pretty >>ridiculous. > >Yeah, he should be dead. Damn shame. He became a great >character.
Same above... if Avi lives and is being tortured or something, we're in SOA land
>Still has to be Jerome. They gotta show Louie having to >sacrifice something in order to be in top. I can see Leon and >Wanda walking away and coming back fully anti-drug game next >season.
What book did he want Franklin to read?
>>I'm mad they didn't really give Oso a story this season > >Look, if we're being real, they haven't given Oso a full >season's worth of material since Season 2. I do think they're >setting up him siding with Saint rather than Teddy, or at >least bouncing on Teddy. Saint saved his life this season, >while Teddy ran away on him. And he knows how unstable Teddy >has become.
Ha this is true. Great point about Teddy running and Franklin riding with him. I didn't consider it.
>>I'm still not a fan of Skylar Black on this show
>I just don't get her purpose as she's written. I don't think >she's playing Saint, because she talks too damn much about >being a grifter's daughter.
Yeah, she's terribly written. She's starting to remind me of Axe's wife on Billions going on in every scene about her scrappy working class roots. I assume her scammer past is gonna save them somehow in the finale but still..
>>i dunno. they lost a step > >Again, probably. It's better than season 1, which was >inconsistent as hell. Probably at the level of Season 2, which >it was very watchable genre TV.
It's the show i always expected, which is mid level good, entertaining, solid acting, LA shit, etc.. After s3 it felt it was turning a corner, and maybe even sneaking its way into that upper tier. but this ain't that, which is fine, i guess
