This popped up on Hulu, heard it was good, checked rottentomatoes 97% critic score, 84% audience..okay. Great performance, still not sure I really love the movie and probably won't re-watch. Im a big Nicolas Cage fan tho mostly. He churns out so many movies and about half or more are not good. I found that if RT scores are above 60% I tend to like the movie tho at least for his movies in particular.

Maybe the best new movie I saw this year. When movies like this give every antihero a tragic backstory, I thought this actually turned into a poignant story of grief, and I am SOOOO tired of people saying RANDOM GENRE MOVIE is actually about grief. Definitely surprised how much I was into this.
MINOR SPOILER: This looks like it will be another John Wick-inspired revenge movie. It isn't, for the better.
