Only a few episodes in and this show is great! 4 Native youth, living on the rez, a year after their friend dies, and dreaming about a way out. There are definitely some similarities with other shows that a lot of us love, but this stands on it's own.
I don't know if anyone around here grew up around or knows any native folks, but this show is so accurate to my experience with them that it's a joy to see this kind of representation on television.
Check it out for sure.

And it was so funny to listen to Bill Burr struggle through that accent. Kinda sad that there's only one episode left, but glad it's been renewed for another season.

s2 is fire so far. they really nailed this balance.
this show might suffer a bit from its name and marketing, i remember when i first looked at it, i just assumed it was a bunch of indian kids copying movie scenes or something, i was barely interested and it won me over. most people i recommend it to respond with something like "really? it didn't look that interesting." which i get because felt the same way

me too. The main kids are truly great, but its a show where EVERY character that shows up has SOMEthing, some level of depth that interests me & engages me enough that im HAPPY spend time with Any & EVERYone. Such a strong cast & characters.

I love this show more and more every week.
Miss M8triarch/Augstus Firekeeper intro scene is one of the funniest scenes in a show in recent memory. I've rewatched it a half-dozen times now. Just perfect.
Even the latest episode with Cheese who I thought in the past was the weak link on the acting side was excellent and he really shined. Have loved getting to spend time with each of the leads this season.
Hopefully this show will develop a following as big and vocal as Abbott Elemntary because it absolutely deserves it

i like the more serious tone this season. the comedy always been there but they do the drama really well (funeral and jail ep especially). willie jack is the star this season for me.
the guest characters were memorable too..
- the boys in the group home - the white dudes helping the cop in the forest - the social media presenters - hopeti’s spirit guide (wit her fine self)
