This is a funny ass movie and also hits it on the head in so many ways.. My wife loved it, too.
I've seen good films and I've seen bad films but it's been a long time since I've seen a film where the world just felt different after (Maybe Blindspotting and then before that probably Moonlight).
I don't know what I'm more impressed by Blank's writing, her directing or her acting. Had she done just one of those she'd be a force but to do all three? Wow. And as a first-time feature filmmaker?
There's so much to that I want to say about this but just am overwhelmed by how incredible it is.
I'm about to annoy a lot of people telling them to watch this if they haven't already
