because she didn't put her pronouns in her twitter bio like some of the other mandalorian actors did
it did mention the anti-mask thing but i kind of dismissed it due to the goofy way the article was written, and never really looked into what she's about.
but if she's full trump cult that's not surprising either.

I think that hooded character was a bait and switch....My prediction is I do think it lines up wit the narration but I don't think Sasha Banks is playing a Jedi or force user. I really do think she's Sabine in hiding. She can't walk around in Mandalorian outfit or even her mask with the hood like her people did in Season 7 of Clone Wars. I think she's on recon of Mando/The Child for Ahsoka but that won't be revealed right away.

Sabine makes too much sense. In addition to what you're mentioning about Ahsoka, you also have the Sabine connection with the Darksaber. Plus the fact that a theme of the Mandalorian seems to be "What does it mean to be a Mandalorian", and Sabine's inclusion can go deeper into that story. Why does Mando's clan never remove their helmets while Sabine and others from the pre-OT era definitely did? What happened with the Empire and the purge? How did Gideon get the Darksaber? Is Bo Katan still alive? There's just so much they can do with this story.

other media bit by bit. THe Darksaber was introduced in the Clone Wars, and we only know a small bit about it's history. Then YEARS later in Rebels we found out more with Tarre Vizsla as the first/only Mandalorian Jedi building it. Now it shows up again years later in live action...this gonna be good.
