I get it...but that doesn't make it not selfish.
They were throwing some serious haymakers boy...jeez..but yeah, this sets up the Kevins pregnant fiance and "me and Randall aren't speaking" flash forward they did earlier in the season. Damn I love this show.

RIGHT! The intent was there, but the execution was wayyyyy off. The fact that he lied about it so calmly, then when Kevin wanted to address it, he walked away from him until it was convenient for him to address it (at which point it was inconvenient for Kevin)

This is coming from someone who HATED Kevin the first 2-3 seasons, so I would like to think I'm being objective here. But the difference between their haymakers is that Kevin was speaking to who Randall is currently. Randall was speaking on a version of Kevin who, in my opinion, doesn't exist anymore. He was speaking on S1 and S2 Kevin. That shit is the WORST when you try so hard to change and people from your past keep throwing that shit in your face
Kevin's rebuttal was out of pocket, but given what he had JUST found out and the way that Randall came for him, it was to be expected tbh

The scenes with Jack's wife/gf giving birth are way further into the future than the scenes at the cabin with Rebecca in bed (dying?). Madison is pregnant now, so the kids will be born within a year, and in the future scenes at the cabin the kids are what, 10ish? Jack is only a few years older than Kevin's kids would be. So these scenes take place around 10 or so years in the future.
So that means the scenes with Jack, Jack's kid being born, his sister showing up at the hospital, are further in the future. It also means that "they" are on their way (Toby says this about Jack) means some adult needs to be with him, cause he obv can't be driving himself. So maybe that indicates Kate is still alive at that point?
All of this is of course nullified if Kevin's kids at the cabin in the future scenes aren't the twins Madison is currently carrying, so who knows haha
