Spoilers below, I watched entire season. It’s too much of a whirlwind, one too many twists & turns kind of show for me. I like shoes where the writing is a bit more of a slow burner.
I read a review that said it was heartbreaking... nah not really. Everyone got out pretty clean...
Jamie was able to take wrap, brother didnt get the 15.
Jamie’s youngest brother’s friend, was able to survive... his mama’s strength able to protect her boy. Maybe they have to leave the city, but he didn’t die.
The lesbian’s sister makes it out the city, paid for by Dushane.
Jamie isn’t gonna spend much time locked up.
The woman connect is business as usual.
The only real casualties were the Jamaican cousin and the rat in the crew who deserved to go.
Like I said, nothing too major, no WOW - can’t believe they wrote X character off show.
Oh - actually - the kid in the fire. Forgot about him.
I hated the very ending... The police have the pin up board and the whole crew is already known, top down. So we don’t get to see any of the work needed to be done to collect that info?

The two addicts that were always around and involved are cops. In the final scene, they are in the room and the female one talks to their superior before she lifts the screen to reveal the Summerhouse intel.

I appreciate Sully a lot more now. He was always more ruthless imo but he showed his softer side this season. Definitely did NOT expect the twist at the end. Hopefully they get a fourth series (forgive me if it's been renewed and I just don't know).

he's easily my favorite in this season.
you might view him differently since you're going backwards, but even though here were shades of the Sully we see now, he's more of a ruthless, reckless asshole in early seasons. I like how they've developed him.

Sully was easily the biggest villain in previous seasons. He was a murder hungry ass dude that was quick to pop off. They really showed some growth of the character (not that he still ain't quick to murder) starting with his dealings with Modie in prison (more tempered than previous seasons). But I think that was the whole point of S3, the OG Summerhouse crew were all in their mid-thirties and had grown old and maybe even a bit wary of being on the road. Compared to the Zet Tee's who were basically the younger versions of them

Then there's a 5 or 6 year gap and the new one starts. Yes, it got cancelled and "Summerhouse" is what they rebranded the first two seasons as when the show was finally brought back for a 3rd.
