I just checked out this flick that came about about a month ago on Netflix. Spike Lee's 40 Acres and Mule produced this film which was directed by Stefon Bristol.

Great film. Great debut for Bristol. It captures New York culture in a really unique way. The two main characters are science "nerds" who are working on a time travel project for a science expo. I don;t want to say too much and give anything away but check this out. Good to see young black directors getting on and with different kinds of material.

a few parts gave me a slight "made for tv" vibe.... but all and all it was good. I hated the ending though.
