Enjoyed it, maybe not quite as much as season one but still really liked it. Left on more of a cliffhanger for season 3 now, nice callbacks again, really well done nostalgia show.

and it still works. As long as you know they are purposely doing it so that you can really sit and watch the movies and tvshow very seamlessly. It's well done on that part.

that it doesn't matter. They pretty much mirrored last season where you got that moment of Daniel and Johnny being cool, so you know its about to crash. I just didn't expect them to go that dark

which is a must because the show wouldn't otherwise. he and the writers have done a killer job of adding layers to Johnny.
Macchio is born to play Daniel. Not really expanding his range, but it's clear how comfortable he is in this role, and he's pretty much exactly how you would expect middle aged Daniel Laruso to be. I also love how he's about 20 years older than the actress that plays his wife but they look the same age.
Daniel's son is a useless character so far. if they ever do anything with him, he'll probably join Cobra Kai. Sam has been great tho.
Tory with a Y was a great addition
Miguel's mom is hot as all get out. Dinner scene was awesome.
Good times all around. I'll probably rewatch the season soon
